We were born in Seattle, but Milan is in our DNA. After all, it was a 1983 trip to the Italian city that inspired Howard Schultz to reimagine the role of coffeehouses in America.
We've grown a lot since 1971, expanding from the United States to Canada to Japan and beyond – but we'd hadn’t yet opened in Italy. That finally changed in 2018, with the opening of our fifth Reserve Roastery location. It's the very first in Milan, the city that changed the course of our history.
Located at the historic Palazzo Delle Poste building, the one-of-a-kind 25,500-square-foot retail space features our premium, small-batch Reserve coffees served in a variety of brewing methods in a beautiful environment. It integrates the world-famous theater of coffee in Italy and offers freshly baked food on site from Italian artisan baker Rocco Princi, the exclusive food provider for all global Roastery locations.
Buon appetito!
